AI Vision Tracking Flight Controller for Betaflight
The AI Vision Tracking Flight Controller combines a Betaflight flight controller and AI vision tracking processor into one compact board.
Instead of using a separate flight controller and external AI tracking computer, this 2-in-1 solution integrates flight control, AI target detection, target locking, and visual tracking on a single lightweight board.
With support for Betaflight 4.6, ELRS/CRSF receivers, DSHOT300/DSHOT600 ESCs, analog CVBS FPV video, and 1080P cameras, it is designed for FPV quadcopters, AI vision experiments, robotics, and computer-vision projects.
Key Features
2-in-1 AI + Betaflight Flight Controller
The controller integrates the main flight-control functions and AI vision processing into one board.
-
Built-in Betaflight flight controller
-
Integrated AI vision processor
-
AI target detection and tracking
-
Target lock function
-
Reduced wiring and system complexity
-
Lightweight 10g design
AI Target Detection and Tracking
The onboard AI system can detect and track visual targets through the supported camera.
It supports:
-
Moving target tracking
-
Stationary target tracking
-
Crosshair-based target lock
-
Automatic visual target following
Under suitable environmental conditions, the published detection distance is up to 450 meters for vehicles and 150 meters for people.
Actual detection and tracking performance depends on camera configuration, target size, lighting, flight conditions, and operating environment.
Betaflight 4.6 Compatible
The flight-control system is designed specifically for Betaflight 4.6.
It supports the Betaflight Web Configurator for configuration and firmware management.
Currently, the controller is optimized for Betaflight and does not support iNav or ArduPilot.
ELRS / CRSF Receiver Support
The controller supports ELRS receivers using the CRSF protocol, making it suitable for modern FPV radio-control systems.
DSHOT ESC Support
Compatible ESC protocols include:
-
DSHOT300
-
DSHOT600
It can connect directly to a typical 4-in-1 ESC system used with FPV quadcopters.
Analog FPV Video
The current version is designed for analog CVBS FPV video transmission.
It can connect to a standard analog FPV VTX for low-latency video transmission.
Lightweight 10g Design
With a weight of approximately 10 grams, the compact board helps reduce the overall weight and wiring of an FPV aircraft.
It is suitable for 5-inch to 18-inch quadcopter platforms.

Do You Need a Separate Flight Controller?
No.
The Betaflight flight controller is already integrated into the AI vision tracking board. You do not need to add another conventional flight controller for the basic configuration.
Does It Require GPS?
No GPS is required for the core AI visual tracking functions.
The system uses the onboard AI processor and camera input for target detection, target locking, and visual tracking.
A GPS module may be useful for applications requiring additional navigation or return-to-home functions, depending on the overall aircraft configuration.
Does It Support Thermal Cameras?
The current version is designed for a single visible-light FPV camera.
A dual-sensor EO/IR version combining visible-light and thermal imaging is under development. Please contact us for the latest availability and evaluation-sample information.
Important Notes
This product is an advanced FPV flight-control and AI vision development platform. Actual AI tracking performance depends on the camera, lighting, target characteristics, flight speed, distance, and operating environment.
The current version is optimized for Betaflight 4.6 and analog FPV video systems.
