Overview
Convert analog AV/CVBS video to HDMI while maintaining continuous HDMI output when the input video signal becomes weak or temporarily unavailable.
This converter supports customizable no-signal display modes, including simulated static noise, black screen, blue screen, customer logo, warning messages, timestamp and other OSD information. OEM firmware customization is available for system integration and special video monitoring applications.
Description
The DVcan AV to HDMI Converter Board is designed for applications where the HDMI display must remain active even when the analog video signal becomes weak or temporarily disappears.
Unlike a standard AV to HDMI converter that may show a blue screen, freeze the last frame or trigger an HDMI re-handshake when the input signal is lost, this converter can maintain continuous HDMI output and provide a configurable display according to your application requirements.
The default firmware can display a black screen with a continuously updating timestamp when no valid video is available. Custom firmware can also be developed to display simulated static noise, a company logo, warning messages, custom text or other OSD information.

Important Note About Static Noise
The simulated static noise option should not be confused with the actual RF noise generated by an analog receiver.
When an analog RF video signal becomes weak, an FPV or analog monitor may still display real video with visible noise because part of the analog signal remains available.
If the receiver completely loses video synchronization, however, there is no original analog video signal available for the converter to reproduce.
In this situation, the converter can display a simulated static pattern as a status indicator. When valid analog video returns, the converter can resume displaying the live video automatically.
