How the Video Relay System Works

The system consists of an analog video source, an encoder, a network connection, and a decoder.

Signal Flow:

Analog CVBS Camera or FPV Receiver → CVBS-to-IP Encoder → Ethernet / Wi-Fi / 4G Network → IP-to-CVBS Decoder → CVBS / HDMI Display

1. Video Input

Connect a compatible analog camera or FPV receiver to the encoder's CVBS input. The source must provide a compatible PAL or NTSC video signal.

2. Video Encoding

The encoder converts the analog video into a compressed digital IP stream using H.264 or H.265, according to the selected configuration.

3. Network Transmission

The encoded stream travels through a compatible network. Ethernet is suitable for local connections, while Wi-Fi or 4G can support remote deployments when the appropriate network equipment is provided.

4. Video Decoding

At the receiving end, the decoder receives a compatible IP stream and converts it into an analog CVBS signal or HDMI output.

5. Video Display

Connect the decoder to a compatible monitor, display, or video processing system to view the transmitted video.

Important: The encoder, decoder, network equipment, video source, and display may be supplied separately unless explicitly included in the selected package. Confirm the package contents before purchasing.

FAQ

Q1: What does this product do?

It converts CVBS analog video into an IP stream at the transmitting end and converts a compatible IP video stream back into CVBS or HDMI at the receiving end.

Q2: Can I transmit FPV video over a long distance?

Yes, the system can relay video over a suitable IP network. The achievable distance depends on the network infrastructure, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or 4G connectivity, rather than the encoder and decoder alone.

Q3: Does the product support wireless transmission?

Wireless transmission is possible when compatible Wi-Fi or cellular network equipment is used. Wireless connectivity may require additional hardware and is not necessarily built into the standard encoder and decoder modules.

Q4: Which video compression formats are supported?

The published system specifications list H.264 and H.265. Confirm the exact encoding and decoding compatibility of your selected modules before ordering.

Q5: Can the decoder output video to an HDMI monitor?

Yes. The decoder supports HDMI output, as well as CVBS output, subject to the selected configuration and compatibility of the incoming stream.

Q6: Does the package include cameras, network equipment, and monitors?

These items are not necessarily included. The standard system architecture treats the video source, network equipment, and display as separate components. Please confirm the exact package contents before placing an order.

Q7: Can the modules be customized?

Customization may be available for compatible interfaces, network functions, firmware, and application requirements. Contact our team with your technical specifications for confirmation.

Q8: What should I confirm before purchasing?

Please provide your video input format, desired output interface, required streaming protocol, network type, power supply, and target application. This information helps us confirm compatibility between the encoder and decoder.
