Long Range SDR Mesh Radio – Multi-Node Wireless Data Communication System

Custom product — price available on request.
Contact us with your requirements. We can customize the product according to your application and provide a suitable configuration and quotation.

This long-range SDR mesh radio is designed for wireless data communication where multiple devices need to communicate over extended distances.

It supports self-organizing mesh networking, multi-hop communication, and up to 256 network nodes, making it suitable for mobile, industrial, robotics, remote monitoring, and other wireless communication systems.

Unlike a simple point-to-point radio link, the mesh architecture allows network nodes to communicate with each other and forward data through multiple communication paths.

Key Features

  • SDR-based wireless communication for flexible frequency and bandwidth configurations

  • Mesh networking with self-organizing and multi-hop communication

  • Up to 256 nodes in the same network

  • Long-range wireless communication depending on frequency, antenna, RF power, terrain, and line-of-sight conditions

  • Configurable bandwidth from 1.25 MHz to 20 MHz, depending on the selected version

  • Frequency options from approximately 635 MHz to 2500 MHz, depending on hardware configuration

  • RF output power options from approximately 27 dBm to 46 dBm

  • Ethernet interface for IP data communication

  • RS232 and TTL interfaces for serial equipment

  • Optional SBUS interface for control-system integration

  • AES256 encryption for wireless data transmission

  • IP20 and IP65 hardware options for different installation environments

Multi-Node Mesh Networking

Each radio can operate as a network node.

Nodes can communicate directly when they are within wireless range. When a direct connection is not available, other nodes can forward data through the mesh network.

This multi-hop architecture can help extend communication coverage without requiring every node to maintain a direct connection with the main station.

The actual communication range depends on:

  • Operating frequency

  • RF output power

  • Antenna gain

  • Antenna installation height

  • Terrain and obstacles

  • Radio interference

  • Line-of-sight conditions

For long-range projects, we recommend testing the complete radio and antenna configuration in the actual operating environment.

Multiple Interfaces

The radio provides several interfaces for connecting computers, controllers, cameras, embedded systems, and other equipment.

Custom Frequency and Hardware Options

Different projects may require different operating frequencies, RF output power, bandwidth, interfaces, or enclosure configurations.

We can discuss customized configurations according to your application and project requirements.

When requesting a quotation, please provide:

  1. Required frequency or frequency range

  2. Required communication distance

  3. Number of network nodes

  4. Required RF output power

  5. Required bandwidth

  6. Ethernet / RS232 / TTL / SBUS requirements

  7. Indoor, outdoor, vehicle, or embedded installation

  8. Estimated order quantity

Long-Range Communication

The maximum communication distance is highly dependent on the installation environment.

Open line-of-sight conditions, antenna height, antenna gain, RF output power, receiver sensitivity, and interference can significantly affect the actual communication range.

For long-range applications, we recommend confirming the frequency, antenna configuration, RF power, and network topology before ordering.

Sample testing can also be arranged for project evaluation.
