PoE Power Expansion Board for CVBS/USB to IP Video Encoder – 10W/20W
Add PoE power and Ethernet connectivity to compact CVBS-to-IP, USB-to-IP and embedded video encoder boards.
This PoE Power Expansion Board converts standard IEEE PoE input into regulated 12V DC power while maintaining 10/100Mbps Ethernet communication. It allows a compatible video encoder or embedded IP device to receive both power and network data through a single Ethernet cable.
This simplifies system wiring and eliminates the need for a separate local DC power adapter at the remote video device.
Two versions are available:
-
32 × 23 × 8mm – IEEE 802.3af Class 3, up to 10W output
-
38 × 38 × 10mm – IEEE 802.3at Class 4, up to 20W output
Both versions accept 44–57V PoE input and provide regulated 12V DC output for the connected video encoder or embedded device. Automatic PoE detection and power negotiation are supported.

One Ethernet Cable for Power and Data
A major advantage of this module is that both Ethernet communication and DC power can be delivered through the same network cable.
Typical system:
PoE Switch / PoE Injector → Ethernet Cable → PoE Power Expansion Board → 10/100Mbps Ethernet + 12V DC → Video Encoder
The connected CVBS-to-IP, USB-to-IP or other compatible embedded device can therefore operate without a separate local DC power adapter.
This is particularly useful for remote cameras, compact video encoders and embedded monitoring equipment where reducing cables and installation complexity is important.
