USB to SBUS Converter | SBUS to USB Adapter with Adjustable Baud Rate
Short Description
Bidirectional USB to SBUS / SBUS to USB converter for RC receivers, flight controllers, robotics, and industrial control systems. Supports USB 2.0 virtual COM port communication, standard SBUS, SBUS2, IBUS and WBUS, with optional adjustable baud rate, frame rate control, SBUS encoding/decoding, and checksum verification.
USB to SBUS Converter / SBUS to USB Adapter
The USB to SBUS Converter is a bidirectional interface module designed to connect SBUS-based devices with PCs, microcontrollers, UART equipment, wireless data links, and industrial control systems.
It supports both SBUS to USB and USB to SBUS communication. The USB interface operates as a standard USB 2.0 CDC Virtual COM Port, allowing an SBUS receiver or control device to communicate with a computer without requiring a dedicated SBUS interface.
Different firmware configurations are available for simple transparent communication, adjustable UART baud rates, frame rate control, SBUS encoding/decoding, and data integrity verification.

How It Works
SBUS to USB
Connect an SBUS receiver or other compatible SBUS source to the converter. The module converts the SBUS communication into USB serial data, allowing a PC or other USB host to receive the control data through a virtual COM port.
USB to SBUS
The converter can also work in the opposite direction, converting USB UART data into SBUS output for compatible control systems and embedded applications.
Optional SBUS Decoding
The codec version can decode SBUS frames internally and output channel information instead of requiring the host controller to process the SBUS protocol.
The decoded data can contain:
-
16 channel values
-
Channel values from 0–2047
-
Status flags
-
XOR checksum
