Convert Analog Cameras to IP Video

The 4-channel encoder allows existing AHD or CVBS cameras to be connected to an Ethernet network.

It can be used with:

  • AHD security cameras

  • CVBS composite cameras

  • Vehicle cameras

  • Industrial cameras

  • Analog monitoring cameras

  • Embedded camera systems

The encoded video can be transmitted through Ethernet to an NVR, PC, monitoring software or another IP-based video system.

H.265 / H.264 Video Encoding

The encoder supports both H.265 and H.264 video compression.

H.265 can reduce network bandwidth requirements compared with H.264, making it suitable for applications where multiple camera streams need to be transmitted simultaneously.

The video bitrate and frame rate can be adjusted according to the application and network requirements.

RTSP and ONVIF Support

Each video channel provides an independent IP video stream.

The encoder can be integrated with:

  • NVR systems

  • VMS software

  • VLC Media Player

  • PC monitoring software

  • Network video systems

  • Customized video platforms

  • Industrial Ethernet systems

The default RTSP port is 554.

Example RTSP stream addresses:

Channel 1:
rtsp://192.168.1.28:554/0

Channel 2:
rtsp://192.168.1.28:554/10

Channel 3:
rtsp://192.168.1.28:554/20

Channel 4:
rtsp://192.168.1.28:554/30

The actual IP address can be changed according to the customer's network configuration.

Important Video Input Compatibility

All four video channels should use the same video signal format and the same resolution.

Supported examples:

  • 4 × AHD 1080P

  • 4 × CVBS PAL

  • 4 × CVBS NTSC

The following combinations are not supported:

  • Mixed AHD and CVBS inputs

  • Mixed video resolutions such as 1080P + 720P

If your project requires different video formats or resolutions on each channel, please contact us. An independent single-channel encoder may be a better solution.

Compact Embedded PCB

The encoder uses a compact embedded PCB design with an approximately 38 × 38mm footprint, making it suitable for integration into equipment where installation space is limited.

It can be integrated into customized enclosures, industrial equipment, vehicle systems and other OEM products.

Optional Wireless Connectivity

For applications requiring wireless video transmission, optional communication modules can be added depending on the project requirements.

Available options may include:

  • WiFi

  • 4G LTE

  • 4G + WiFi

  • GPS

Please contact us with your wireless communication requirements before ordering.
